Target audience: 6 to 12 years old

Through gypsy, trad and folk rhythms, Ariane DesLions introduces us to her "crumpled up" family in her new show: Rêves à colorier. A high-flying musical adventure combining song, object theatre and clowning. Immerse yourself in the sensitive and eccentric world of the fabricoleuse (nominated for an ADISQ award), who invents musical instruments from unusual objects.

The multi-instrumentalist and trained social worker cobbles together stories in song to repair the scrapes of the heart with her musical tools. Her songs become tools, and the tools become musical instruments, offering young audiences words to soothe the storms of everyday life: family conflicts, poverty, illness, etc.

Synopsis: La Fabricoleuse takes refuge in the basement, safe from the storms at home, and rediscovers her childhood toy, "Tiyou", her fabulous sound machine. With the help of her musical tools, she tries to push back the limits of what is possible to keep her balance despite the ups and downs of everyday life. Will she manage to build a famiclette-recomposée (fabricolated musical bicycle) to finally reunite her two families?

Accompanied by their incredible fabricated instruments, Ariane DesLions and Tiyou offer us a playful and orchestral sound colouring that will have the whole family dancing!

A show of confidences, in which music becomes a refuge for knitting together resilience.

The performance is made possible by the Quebec government's Plan de relance économique du milieu culturel.
