Most of us feel like we’re prisoners of a world turned upside down. On their sixth album, the Montreal band We Are Wolves attempts to imagine a future where we can dance despite the hell that surrounds us. On this dystopian dance-rock album, the musicians present a spellbinding formula that pushes us to rethink the purpose of things and embrace change. Décorum is a sextet where woodwinds take center stage: wild cajons, a rousing violin, fiery harmonica solos, and plenty of guitar chords. It’s folk, it’s rock, with a touch of classical and metal, presented on stage in a festive and unifying atmosphere.
