In order to claim a substantial inheritance, a family welcomes their elderly cousin Germaine, who has arrived straight from Las Vegas. There’s just one condition to meet, and that’s it: they must ensure her happiness. But now Cousin Germaine demands champagne and a “royal poutine,” please. Évelyne, who until then had been in complete control of her household, watches her world unravel before her eyes and no longer recognizes her beloved daughter… And the $11 million inheritance is slow in coming, while the couple’s savings melt away like ice in the sun.
