Attendence mode Face-to-face event

Don Quichotte and his faithful companion Sancho Panza wander side by side across the desolate plains of La Mancha. The former dreams of accomplishing great feats of chivalry, while the latter hopes to reap the glory—and, above all, the wealth—that come with them. Very soon, doubt sets in. Are their adventures really real? Could the knight with the sad face have made it all up? Has he gone mad? Through this improbable, comical, and touching quest, *Against the Wind* explores the boundaries between imagination and lucidity, between dreams and responsibility, in an adventure that is both wild and deeply human.

Inspired by Cervantes’s famous novel, *Contre le vent* offers a playful, poetic, and contemporary reinterpretation of *Don Quixote* tailored for children. True to the approach that has made La Machine’s productions renowned, the staging prioritizes accessible, sensory theater open to all audiences, particularly families.

The story, imbued with humor and tenderness, highlights the richness of the imagination, the quest for freedom, and the importance of human connections. Designed for a traveling stage, the production fosters a close connection with the audience through ingenious set design, striking visual elements, and an immersive soundscape.

By setting up in the heart of neighborhoods, parks, and villages, Contre le vent transforms public spaces into true theatrical playgrounds, bringing together people of all ages for a vibrant, inclusive, and unifying artistic experience.
