Spectacle de Guillaume Lafond - Place Notre-Dame
From the very first notes, Guillaume Lafond’s charisma and captivating voice quickly win over the audience. His show offers a unique musical experience, in which he reimagines classics with his own personal touch, while performing his original compositions in French, influenced by American music.
His inspiration is rooted in the authenticity of artists like Chris Stapleton, known for his traditional country sounds, while incorporating the stage energy of Elvis Presley. This unique combination forges a distinctive style. On stage, the chemistry between Guillaume and his musicians is palpable, transporting the audience into a world filled with sensitivity, love, and joy. With his warm voice and passion for country music, Guillaume Lafond has carved out a prominent place for himself in Quebec’s music scene. He made a name for himself on *Star Académie 2021*, where he became one of the audience’s favorites. This experience marked a turning point in his career and led to the release of his debut album, featuring nine songs inspired by his personal experiences.
This album opened the doors to Quebec’s biggest stages and festivals for him. He also served as the opening act on Guylaine Tanguay’s tour and stood out with five nominations at the 2023 Gala Country, in addition to an ADISQ nomination in the Country Album of the Year category. More recently, Guillaume Lafond released his second album, *Sous mon chapeau*, which features ten original compositions with authentic country sounds. These songs are perfect for both relaxed listening and dancing. The artist is now touring Quebec with this new show, where his unique country swing style leaves no one indifferent and gets the crowds on their feet in no time.
