Drag Queen Story Hour

After the great success of last year's event at the Donalda-Charron library, we're once again presenting Story Time with a drag queen to mark Capital Pride.

Come and spend some wacky, glittery family time with drag queen LaDorris, who will read you a few stories encouraging openness and inclusion and touching on LGBTQIA2+ themes!

LaDorris

Her name echoes across the province. A veritable nomad in the world of drag, LaDorris, with her background in theatre, improvisation, dance, etc., has performed in many Quebec municipalities, even where the most sceptical would never have thought of seeing a show of this kind. From Montreal to Quebec City, via St-Jérôme, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières, there's no stopping this stage beast.

In 2017, LaDorris joined the fundraising show team for Jeunesse Idem with ambassador Mz Horizon! Many extraordinary encounters, fundraising shows and beautiful, grandiose pride events! You may have run into her in the Outaouais at Le Petit Chicago and Le Minotaure. La Dorris has fallen in love with the people of the Outaouais and has forged a strong bond of compassion with the organization Jeunesse Idem. In 2019, LaDorris is taking over from Mz Horizon to become the new Ambassador for Jeunesse Idem! She takes her role seriously and has been working hard ever since to make a difference.
