Bells Larsen
FOLK
Blurring Time
With *Blurring Time* (2025), his second album, Canadian artist Bells Larsen transforms his transition into a striking musical work. Blending 90s lo-fi indie with incandescent folk, he juxtaposes his “high” voice from 2022 with his new “low” voice, enhanced by Georgia Harmer’s harmonies. The result is a vibrant, daring duo that has captivated artists like Katie Gavin and The Japanese House.
Selected for the Polaris Music Prize longlist and spending five weeks at No. 1 on Canadian college radio, the album has been praised by The Guardian, NPR, Cosmopolitan, Billboard, Paste, CBC, and many others. Larsen has shared the stage with Buck Meek (Big Thief), Land of Talk, Dan Mangan, and Martha Wainwright, and recently performed at the Pitchfork Music Festival London.
