[I Don’t Want To Just] Paint The People

While the public will be invited to pose during sessions that will lead to the creation of new sketches—and perhaps even new works—the gallery (along with its staff and visitors) could become a model in its own right. What the artist defines as “Relationally Based Studio Practice”—where studio work is rooted in a relational approach with the models who pose—is the common thread linking the works that will be brought together in this exhibition.
