De Flore is a blend of dreamy bedroom pop, French-touch nu-disco, and sensual neo-psychedelia. With a supernatural chemistry that predates even their birth, the duo—composed of Sarah-Anne LaCombe and Mathieu Gauthier—lets itself be seduced by the passing of time and the velvet that surrounds them. With a tapestry of new songs bearing an indie, sexy, and groovy signature, the two self-taught artists, natives of Hawkesbury and L’Orignal, project a nostalgic vibe in pastel hues. On stage, the ethereal vocals paint surreal images over hypnotic guitar riffs, psychedelic synths, and lounge-style beats. Their hushed yet sparkling energy radiates a warmth that sometimes calls for fans.

happy sunflower is the vision created by young artist Jonas Allamanno. Based in Montreal, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has teamed up with three other cheerful sunflowers—Benjamin Proulx, Rory Cogley, and Omar Esperón—to craft music that straddles the line between neo-psychedelia and dreampop. Drawing inspiration from the Australian psych-rock scene of the 2010s and dreamy French-language pop, the quartet takes us on their dreamlike journeys, sometimes in the air, sometimes by the sea.
