To begin its 21st season, Ensemble Prisme invites you into a world that blends the beauty and refinement of French music with the depth of German music. Fanny Mendelssohn, sister of the great Felix, had little time to compose, but she left us, among other works, a magnificent trio that opens the doors to a profound and sensory world. Accompanying it is Debussy’s ever-enchanting Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and, an absolute must-hear, the first trio by Camille Saint-Saëns, this magician of sound.
