Beginners Pottery Course

6 weeks session, for beginners, with little or no experience with pottery. 

Different groups are available:

Wednesday evenings, from 6pm-8:30: Teacher: Evelyn MacIver (Yarrow Ceramics).

- January 17 to February 21st, 2024. 

- March 13 to April 17, 2024.

- May 1st to June 5, 2024.

Friday afternoons, from 1-3:30pm: Teacher Véronique Caron-Bossé

- January 19 to February 23, 2024.

Tuesday afternoons, from 1-3:30pm: Teacher: Véronique Caron-Bossé

- April 16 to May 21, 2024.

Thursday nights, from 6pm-8:30pm, for beginners Level 2:

- January 18 to February 22d, 2024  

- March 14 to April 18, 2024

- May 2d to June 6, 2024

Maximum 8 students per group. There are 4 pottery wheels in the studio, so the time will be divided between throwing and handbuilding techniques. In this course, you will practice all the steps involved in the making of a pottery piece.

This class is bilingual. All materials and firings are included. 

Classes are given on chemin de la Montagne, Wakefield, Québec. Exact address and other details will be sent by email one week before the beginning of the session. 

Cancellation policy:

• You may cancel 2 weeks in advance of the beginning of the session to receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the beginning of the session will not be eligible for a refund.
• If you have to miss one class, no refund will be given. Missed classes cannot be transferred to another group. 
• We might have to cancel one class in cas of bad weather. If it's the case, it will be postponed to the week following the end of the session.
