Spectacle d'Ariane Roy - Place Notre-Dame
Named “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” at the 2022 ADISQ Gala and nominated for “Francophone Album of the Year” at the 2023 JUNO Awards, Ariane Roy is part of a new wave of artists redefining Quebec music.
Following her acclaimed Le Roy, La Rose et le Lou[p] tour, which has taken her across the province over the past two years, as well as her first “medium plaisir” tour, she returns to the stage with her solo project to present her second album, *Dogue*, co-produced with Félix Petit. With her trademark passion, she reveals a darker side this time around, with sharper lyrics and a more caustic voice, in a resolutely contemporary style. *Dogue* bares its teeth—sometimes to smile—but to whose benefit? It doesn’t matter, since it’s hard to resist her world, which invites us to join the pack.
