Ripon trad festival
The 2026 Ripon Trad Festival is ready to give you an unforgettable experience! Get out your calendar and mark these dates now: September 17–20, 2026.
In 2026, Ripon is pulling out all the stops by welcoming several leading figures in Quebec’s traditional music scene. The 2026 edition will be a celebration. We’ll be celebrating in style three very special milestones for three iconic figures in the traditional music scene: the 50th anniversary of Michel Lalonde’s (Garolou) and Yves Lambert’s (La Bottine Souriante) careers, as well as the 30th anniversary of Les Charbonniers de l’enfer. It’s sure to be a blast. On top of all that, we’ll be lucky enough to have Le Vent du Nord, Temps Antan, and the return of the local duo: Attache ta Tuque, ça parle au Diable (Le Diable à Cinq and La Tuque Bleue)
The festival, at a glance:
- About fifteen performance venues in homes, shops, and unique locations throughout the village (on Saturday), workshops, and lively evenings under the big top.
- Once again this year, Thursday promises a lineup that showcases the very talented women of the traditional music scene, including Jocelyn Pettit (BC).
- We’re also announcing the return of the “Virée du canton” (formerly the “Virée gourmande”) on Friday. The event was a huge success last year.
