Patrice Servant is a classical guitarist trained in Québec, Peru, and Spain. He holds advanced diplomas in classical guitar and chamber music, earned a First National Prize at the Concours de musique du Canada, and received the Prix de l’Oeuvre de l’année from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec for his symphonic work.

His playing sits at the intersection of classical tradition and flamenco, with a deep knowledge of world music throughout. He’s appeared at festivals and concert halls internationally, on Radio-Canada, Bravo! Television, and the BBC, and has performed with the NAC Orchestra, opened for Wynton Marsalis, and played before Governor General Michaëlle Jean. He’s also the artistic director of STRUM, a production series dedicated to plucked string repertoire.
