Matinée classique : Élégance et virtuosité par l'Ensemble Lux Musica

The Lux Musica ensemble presents its new concert, titled “Elegance and Virtuosity.” Through their magnificent repertoire performed on period instruments and their insightful commentary, the musicians will transport you back to the atmosphere of private concerts as they were held in aristocratic Europe during the Baroque era.

The audience will embark on this journey through time alongside flutist Brigitte Lamontagne, violinist Carole Meneghel, cellist Jivko Georgiev, and percussionist Robert Len. They will perform works by the most illustrious and celebrated composers of this rich era: Telemann, Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, Lully, and others. The audience will hear a selection of well-known pieces as well as lesser-known gems.
