The summer of 2024 will mark an important milestone in Quebec's tourism and cultural landscape: the Centre d'Art Populaire du Québec will unfold with a huge venue dedicated to Folk Art.

It promises to become a landmark on the Montreal-Ottawa axis.

For the 2024 season, and over a space of more than 6,000sq.ft. the Centre will present from June 5:

14 exhibitions:

  • A unique collection of classic (Georges Racicot, Cléophas Lachance, Léon Ippersiel) and contemporary (Francine Noël, Alain Vachon, Rémi Dumas, Jacynthe Rhéaume, René Dandurand, Michel Therrien) sculptors.
  • An exceptional exhibition of quilts,
  • A beautiful display of duck decoys.

Finishing with a fireworks display:

An immersive lumino kinetic experience of works by the great Quebec artist Florent Veilleux (who has exhibited at the Rockfeller Center in Newport York), whose exceptional work will now be on display in the Outaouais thanks to the generosity of his family.

Finally, two dates to mark in your diaries:

June 5: opening of the season and inauguration of the new premises.

And from June 21 to 23: the rendez-vous of Art populaire du Québec sculptors.

Don't miss it!!!
