Biography

Diagnosed with incurable cancer three years ago, Suzanne Crête decided to face the winds head-on.

After writing a book, Le cancer métastatique et moi : guide de survie (Metastatic Cancer and Me: A Survival Guide), which tells her story from the moment she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer, she took up painting as a way of expressing her grief and fulfilling a dream: to hold an exhibition.

Even if her talent wasn't there, Suzanne's path allowed her to ignore the judgement of others and dare to follow her aspirations to the end.

Here's the result of her approach and her new aspirations: the creation of several canvases.

Living every day, that's life! That's her new philosophy!

An ambassador for the Fondation Santé Gatineau for the past two years, the sale of her paintings will go directly to the Fondation pour Outaouais contre le cancer 2024.
