Attendence mode Face-to-face event

*Doors open at 7:30 p.m.*

Chicha Libre uses surf guitar, organ sounds, and Latin percussion to create a blend of borrowed and local sounds. Synthesizer sounds, processed guitars, songs in Spanish and French, classical music, and pop elements from three continents all contribute to Chicha Libre’s free-spirited approach to the tropical genre.

Founded in 2007, this Brooklyn-based group is composed of musicians from France, Mexico, Venezuela, and the United States, who are at the forefront of a global movement to revive and promote chicha, a psychedelic cumbia originating in Peru.
