Come discover the rich history and heritage gems of the magnificent Ruisseau de la Brasserie area, including the former pumping station—now the Théâtre de l’Île—the beautiful historic Wright-Scott estate, the picturesque village of Argentine, which was spared by the Great Fire of 1900, the monument to Philemon Wright, founder of the Township of Hull in 1800, and the E.B. Eddy buildings, designated historic monuments by the Government of Quebec. Come explore Gatineau’s first heritage site, created in 1991 by the former City of Hull.

The City of Gatineau is committed to being an inclusive and accessible community. You can contact our team for more information on the accessibility of sites and activities at the following address: programmationete@gatineau.ca. You can also plan your trips using the STO’s Plani-Bus service.
