Come discover the industrial development of the Chaudière Falls area, which began in the early 19th century and became the region's economic hub at the turn of the 20th, with the installations of E.B. Eddy and then JR. Booth, on LeBreton Flats. On April 26, 1900, the region's biggest fire destroyed most of the area, but it was quickly rebuilt. After the Second World War, industrial activity gradually declined. Come and see the remains of the built heritage and the site of the waterfall, now accessible thanks to the Zibi project. Your guide will also recall the famous 1829 battle on the Chaudières bridge, where the famous Jos Montferrand is said to have routed 150 proud Irishmen.
