On April 25 and 26, 2026, the Chœur classique de l’Outaouais will kick off its 40th anniversary celebrations by presenting a landmark work from the musical heritage of the Outaouais and Quebec: Requiem pour Mathieu by Gatineau composer Pierrette Froment-Savoie, who will also be the guest pianist.


Created with the participation of the Chœur in 1992, this moving work is recognized for its depth and universal message.

For this special occasion, the Chœur classique de l'Outaouais will be accompanied by some fifteen musicians from the Ensemble Prisme and four soloists.
