We cordially invite you to attend the opening of the exhibition, which will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Komi Seshie invites us to reflect on the involuntary displacement of populations by presenting works created from recycled materials: wood, which evokes damaged nature; plastic and metal, symbols of rampant industrialization; and textiles, vessels of human suffering. As discarded objects, these materials—which carry within them memories of exhaustion and transformation—find a welcoming home within the artworks.

More than an exploration of the socio-economic, geopolitical, and environmental issues linked to forced migration, “Terre d’accueil” is an artistic cry against the forgetting of the suffering endured and the courage displayed by those who, one day, had to leave their homeland for a new home.

The exhibition Terre d’accueil will be on view from June 18 to August 22, 2026.
