    CINÉ JONCTION presents:

NITASSINAN by Joséphine Bacon and Kim O’Bomsawin

    Canada (Quebec). 2026. 78 min. Documentary. (G)

Original version in French and Innu, with French subtitles.

NITASSINAN is a testament to the Innu people. An affirmation of our past, present, and future history. The film celebrates our vitality, our resilience, and the deep connection that unites us to the Earth. Because Nitassinan is not just the place where we come from—it is a living part of ourselves. It nourishes our language, inspires our thoughts, and guides our steps. This documentary is a declaration of love for our Territory—the one that saw us born and continues to accompany us, even into our dreams.
