A viral video of an 8-year-old Bulgarian artist—a prodigy of painting—is circulating on the Internet. This phenomenon catches the attention of a collector. Mihail is sent to assess the value of the young girl’s work. He must return to his homeland for the first time, nearly 30 years after leaving it, and confront the ghosts of his past.
