Suzanne, a woman living in isolation in the forest, sees her life turned upside down when her son Mathieu reappears at her doorstep after years of absence. Day after day, she is confronted with Mathieu’s desire to go to the bog, a hidden place in the forest haunted by memories of their shared past. At first trying to dissuade him, she eventually gives in and accompanies him. Along the way, mother and son forge a fragile bond. But this moment of reunion will not last. Despite her deep love, Suzanne will be unable to keep her son from embarking on his final journey.
« MON FILS NE REVINT QUE SEPT JOURS is a deeply poetic work, a true tribute to nature and humanity’s place within it.” (Thomas Thivierge, Le Soleil)
