The Troupe Désinvolte cordially invites you to attend its upcoming play: L’importance d’être Constant, by the famous Irish writer and playwright Oscar Wilde. A brilliant and satirical comedy, *The Importance of Being Earnest* is a classic that pokes fun at social conventions, marriage, and the pretences of Victorian high society. Updated by Francis Leblanc, who also directs, the play tells the story of Jack and Algernon, two London gentlemen, each leading a double life to escape social constraints and pursue their romantic adventures in complete freedom. But their lies quickly become entangled, leading to a series of delightful misunderstandings, unexpected revelations, and situations as absurd as they are hilarious.
