LES BOYS: QUEBEC'S BIGGEST FILM FRANCHISE ADAPTED FOR THE STAGE

Stan, owner of a brewery and coach of a very, very amateur hockey team, loses a huge amount of money playing poker against Méo, a loan shark he considers his friend.

To help Stan pay off his debt, Méo has an idea: they will play double or nothing on the ice in a hockey game. If Stan's team wins, the debt is wiped clean. But if they lose... Méo becomes the owner of his precious brewery.

While Méo gathers a bunch of musclemen and ex-convicts, Stan can only count on his boys. His team is made up of men from different backgrounds, with nothing in common except perhaps their love of hockey and the beer they drink together after games... To come to the aid of the man who is more than just their coach, they will have to put aside their differences and learn the true meaning of friendship.

More than 25 years after its release, Guillaume Corbeil and Marc St-Martin revisit Louis Saia's film, based on an original idea by Richard Goudreau and a screenplay by Christian Fournier, bringing it to the stage. This is an opportunity to reconnect with Quebec's most famous hockey team (OK, maybe the second most famous...) and remember the importance of mental toughness.
