Level up your knitting! This class is for anyone who has learned the basics of knitting (knitting

and purling) and is ready for the next step. This is a very flexible

class - you'll learn whatever people in the class are interested in!

We'll likely cover skills for socks (working in the round, increases and

decreases, etc) since there's been a lot of interest in sock knitting.

(Keep an eye out for a sock workshop coming soon!) Other topics can

include increases/decreases, patterned fabrics like ribbing

or basket weave, what is gauge and how to "get

gauge", reading a pattern, fixing mistakes, cables, seaming, etc.

If you have a knitting project you need help with, bring it!

Bring a pair of knitting needles and some yarn to practice with. We'll have some supplies available as well.

Your homework before the workshop: think about what you'd like to learn! (Eg projects, techniques, etc).

Note:

unlike prior workshops, this is a paid workshop, with the fee going

directly to the teacher. If cost is a barrier, please get in touch!
