Hailing from the vibrant artistic community of Petite-Vallée, Jeanne Côté carries a cultural heritage as rich as it is unexpected. After grounding her career in her Gaspé roots, she opens a new chapter with a second album that broadens her horizons. Remaining true to minimalist folk, she infuses it with a more dynamic, groovy, and luminous energy, inspired by those moments of rupture and connection that shape our human journeys.
Having come to the public’s attention by winning the 2023 Francouvertes, as a finalist for the 2024 Félix-Leclerc Songwriting Award, and as a nominee in the New Artist of the Year category at the 2025 ADISQ Awards, Jeanne Côté has established herself as a unique voice on the Quebec music scene. Her sensitive songwriting, distinctive piano playing, and deeply authentic folk style have already won over hearts.
