Hommage à François Dompierre et son requiem
THE GREAT CONCERTS SERIES (LGC) A tribute concert to François Dompierre, a leading figure in the Outaouais region and in local music creation, whose work resonates just as much on radio, television, in film, and in theater as it does on the world’s greatest stages. His *Requiem* has become one of the defining milestones of his career, having received numerous prestigious accolades. Performed by a stellar lineup of soloists—soprano Myriam Leblanc, tenor Andrew Haji, and baritone Geoffroy Salvas—this work takes on a spectacular and deeply human dimension. Conceived as an artistic and inner journey, like a film of a life leading up to his *Requiem*.
Inspired by the architecture, light, and colors of Barcelona’s Sagrada Família, as well as the world of Gaudí, the OSG presents this concert in a luminous and immersive setting, preceded by a pre-concert reception with M. Dompierre himself.
At the heart of this emotional experience, the concert becomes a total immersion where music, light, and memory converge in a single rhythm.
