Clay and Friends offer a hard-hitting blend of soul, funk and hip-hop backed by prose that reflects their Montreal daily life, what has come to be known as: La Musica Popular De Verdun. Renowned for their over-the-top concerts, Clay and Friends have thrilled over 1,850 Canadian and European crowds since 2014 under the #KeEpItMoViN' umbrella. In November 2023, Clay and Friends won their first Félix trophy at the Premier Gala de l'ADISQ in the Show of the Year - Autres langues et multilingues category for their show AGUÀ. The quintet has racked up over 60 million listens to its catalog since its debut on streaming platforms. Their song Going Up The Coast is certified Gold by Music Canada, commemorating the single's 40,000 digital sales. The hit single has over 20 million listens to date since its release in October 2018. The group was nominated for the prestigious Félix-Leclerc 2021 award, and its song Bouge ton thang was nominated for Song of the Year at the ADISQ 2022 Gala and for the SOCAN Song Award the same year. Their French-language album AGUÀ EXTEND'EAU is nominated in the Pop Album of the Year category at the Premier Gala de l'ADISQ 2023. In September 2023, the group wins a Prix Gémeaux : Best theme song - All categories, for his opening song on Infoman 2022 (New Year's Day edition).
