Ciné Jonction présente, en collaboration avec l'ONF, LES PERDANTS
THE LOSERS by Jenny Cartwright
Canada (Quebec). 2025. 1h37. Documentary. (G)
LES PERDANTS follows three candidates in the October 2022 provincial election. What they have in common: a sure defeat. Through their respective campaigns, the film deconstructs the electoral system and its many dysfunctions: additional difficulties for women and racialized people, a flawed voting system, inequitable financing, the weight of the media and polls...
“LES PERDANTS is a militant documentary: it doesn't pretend to present both sides of the coin, but rather different ideas. And it does so in a frank, often enlightening way” (Alexandre Vigneault, La Presse). (Alexandre Vigneault, La Presse)
