On December 9 at 7:30 p.m. and December 10 at 3:30 p.m., the Chœur classique de l'Outaouais, conducted by Tiphaine Legrand, presents Paris, au tournant du XXe siècle! A concert that will take you on a journey of French discoveries with Mel Bonis, Cécile Chaminade, Lili and Nadia Boulanger, complemented by better-known motets by Maurice Duruflé and Christmas motets by Francis Poulenc.

Paris, at the turn of the 20th century, was a privileged place and time in the evolution of arts and culture, as female composers enriched the musical and choral repertoire with their sensibility and modernity, and composers brilliantly continued the sacred tradition.
