Danielle Doucet, a professional artist from Gatineau, began her creative career in contemporary dance, fashion and the visual arts. Her creative residencies at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in the United States in 2013 and 2015 were defining milestones, shaping her artistic vision. Danielle has exhibited her work in many prestigious galleries in the region, such as Galerie Montcalm, Espace Pierre Debain, Espace René Provost, La Fab, and the Centre d'Action Culturelle in Montébello. She was awarded the Prix du Jury at Traces Arts Visuels 2014 and the Prix des Pairs in 2015, and was a winner of the 45th National Exhibition-Competition of the Society of Canadian Artists in 2013. In 2023, a grant from Culture Outaouais enabled her to create a work in tribute to the winner of the Claire Duguay tribute prize.
