Centre d'art contemporain de l'Outaouais

The Centre d'art contemporain de l'Outaouais (CACO) is a non-profit organization for the production and dissemination of contemporary art, founded in 1996, whose mission was redefined in 2004. The mission of the CACO is to carry out cultural projects and multidisciplinary events that focus on sculpture and contemporary arts in order to establish links between humans, art and nature, through the realization of large-scale events. Award from the MRC de l'Outaouais at the Culturiades 2006. Ovation Award from Tourisme Outaouais in the Sustainable Tourism category 2009. Lyse-Daniels Award for its ecological and artistic commitment in the Outaouais. Print and electronic media have praised the originality of the Recycl'Art Festival as well as the specialized magazines: Espace dédié à la sculpture and Vie des Arts.
