Alphonse is a natural on stage and a poet. He returns with a new show, t.o.m. or the Trajectory of the Perseids, which surprises and moves the audience—a journey into the heart of his past, tracing his journey as a young boy from a rural background. It’s an epic that will make you dance, but also reflect on our times and the male role models we offer to young men.
On stage, six musicians—six friends—transform his energy into music. Eclectic, ranging from jazz to dubstep, his songs are always rooted in the power of words. They give substance to poetry, amplifying it. It is a theatrical and literary performance, a universe of interstellar fireflies where Alphonse meets t.o.m.—by turns a friend, a lover, a brother, and a mirror—who serves as both a foil and a role model. t.o.m. is the magnetic embodiment of what every man can become.
