1. Eligibility Requirements & Terms and Conditions
Access to the content management system and event entry is reserved for Culture Outaouais members in good standing. Apply here to become a member or check your status by emailing us at toutculture@cultureoutaouais.org.
The following critera have been established in order to:
- Maintain the quality of the content: by restricting access to only organizers that meet our specific requirements, Tout culture can guarantee the quality of the content and that it responds to our users expectations.
- Restrict inapropriate content: organisations that do not meet our eligibility requirements we can maintain a safe and respectful platform.
- Guarantee the platform’s credibility: the Tout culture team can guarantee that the content found on the platform is verified and accurate.
By creating an account on the Culture Outaouais calendar, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
- The cultural event must take place in the Outaouais region, be presented by Outaouais artists and craftspeople or by a presenter/producer/organization whose main address is in the Outaouais region and be in one of the following disciplines: media arts, digital arts, visual arts, podcasting, film, circus, dance, comedy, literature, crafts, music, heritage and history, theater. If your discipline is not listed, please contact us to validate the eligibility of your publication.
- The proposal must demonstrate professionalism and arouse the interest of the Tout culture platform’s target audience, i.e., Outaouais residents, visiting tourists and those looking for cultural events. Shows, performances, festivals, fairs, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, courses. We will not accept training, courses or content intended for cultural professionals only.
- Information entries must be minimally in French and edited.
- Information entries can also be entered in English to enhance the English user experience.
- The attached image must be of good quality (.jpg image, minimum 600 x 600 pixel – maximum 2 Mb).
Tout culture and Culture Outaouais are not responsible for omissions, content quality, errors, or technical problems.
A delay of 3-5 working days is required for approval of new event entries or to obtain access.
2. How to add my event to the calendar?
You can contact us at toutculture@cultureoutaouais.org to request access to the platform. By creating an account, you will then be able to enter your own events on the site. All publications are subject to approval by the Tout culture team before publication.
3. Terms of Use
By using this site, you (“user”) agree to be bound by all of the following terms and conditions of use without exception. Tout culture is the property of Culture Outaouais.
A) Tout culture is only a host
You agree that Tout culture is only a host and is not responsible for the content generated by users. You agree to use these services freely.
Tout culture is not responsible for external content linked or referenced on the site, nor for content, advertising, products or other items available on or from these external sites or resources.
B) Conditions for using Tout culture
You are solely responsible for anything you post or submit.
The content you post on Tout culture must not:
- Be false, inaccurate or misleading;
- Infringe any copyright, trademark or right of publicity;
- Contain or transmit any code that could damage, detrimentally interfere with, intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information;
- Causes damage to any culture or entails risks of service interruption on the part of its suppliers;
- Violate any applicable law.
Consequently, Tout culture may, without notice and without reimbursement of any fees whatsoever, immediately remove content, issue a warning or temporarily suspend a user, terminate a user’s account, prohibit access to the site or take any legal or technical measures that may be necessary.
C) Intellectual Property
You grant Tout culture a license solely to use any information or content you provide to Tout culture in a manner that does not infringe any rights you may have in such content.
You grant Tout culture a non-exclusive, perpetual and irrevocable license to use the content you submit for informational and promotional purposes.
You authorize Tout culture to record, reproduce and format your content on Tout culture and to display it on the site as it sees fit.
D) Disclaimer of warranty and liability
Tout culture, Culture Outaouais, its employees and administrators offer the services of the Tout culture site as is, and without any implicit or legal warranty or condition.
Tout culture, Culture Outaouais, its employees and administrators cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for direct or indirect damages related to the use of the site.
Nor does Culture Outaouais guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access to the site.
Any dispute or litigation arising out of or in connection with Tout culture shall be submitted exclusively to the courts of the judicial district of Gatineau. The laws of Quebec and Canada shall apply.
In the event of a dispute between you and another user or third party, Tout culture encourages you to contact the user or third party to resolve the dispute amicably. Tout culture has no obligation to settle disputes between users or between users and third parties.
