I am particularly fond of wheel-throwing, the sgraffito technique I use to decorate my pieces, and the art of glazing, which I experiment with to achieve colorful, fluid effects. Deeply inspired by Asian culture, tea ware makes up a large part of my work. For me, ceramics also offer an opportunity to practice mindfulness and embodiment through the material, to experiment with the fluidity between worlds, and to give form to the invisible.
