Since the very beginnings of cinema, film-makers have called on the services of music to amplify the effect of images, even before the advent of talking pictures! The unrivalled evocative power of music has accompanied every great film, and its judicious use has made some great cinematic moments unforgettable. Chamber music has also been part of the arsenal of great directors. Ensemble Prisme will be sharing its favourites, some well-known, some surprising, with you. An evening full of images.
