Marguerite Ingenito et Alexia Kokozaki - Échos intimes : gestes de mémoire et de transmission
This exhibition brings together works by emerging artists Marguerite Ingenito and Alexia Kokozaki on the themes of childhood, motherhood, and the traces that memory leaves on bodies and objects. Ingenito explores the gestures of rocking and the hopes associated with parenthood through video and the staging of the cradle. Kokozaki creates a dialogue between the present and childhood by combining textiles, photographs, and video. Together, their works weave a sensitive space where memories, legacies, and transformations respond to and reinvent each other.

About the location
Art-image et espace Odyssée
The Centre d'exposition Art-image and the Odyssée space at the Maison de la culture de Gatineau are two exhibition spaces whose mandate is to disseminate current and contemporary art in order to increase public awareness and appreciation of these practices. Both spaces present exhibitions by professional artists. These artists come from the region, the province and the country. Once a year, the Émergence programme gives young artists from the Federal Capital Region the opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional environment.
