Since its formation in the fall of 1976 in the Lanaudière region, La Bottine Souriante has proudly embodied the vitality and richness of Quebec’s musical heritage. To mark 50 years in the business, the group is presenting an anniversary show featuring highlights from its impressive repertoire, ranging from classic hits to more recent compositions.
On stage, 11 exceptional artists deliver a performance that is both lively and spellbinding, blending vocals, traditional instruments, a brass section, and foot percussion. Their unparalleled musical and stage chemistry highlights a unique blend of sounds, born from the group’s distinctive Celtic and Acadian roots.
This commemorative show is intended as a tribute to a legendary group, a vibrant symbol of the transmission and celebration of Quebec’s musical heritage.
