Canada's mighty princess of darkness, Kandle, is back with her fierce new album. Weaving a buzz of trip-hop rhythms, brilliant and heart-rending lyrics, and her characteristically seductive and haunting vocals, she casts spells that take us off our lonely, monotonous paths. She knows all too well the darkness we all face, and with these songs she reaches out to all those who wish to be understood but feel misunderstood. Kandle can weave this magic so powerfully because she feels it too, she's there, in the darkness with us.
