Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival & World Tour
The 28th Quebec edition of the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour is back! The Festival presents short and medium-length films made by daredevil adventurers in the heart of the wilderness. These are inspiring adventures, interwoven with human prowess and stories that often go beyond the protagonists' sporting exploits alone. Tour fans will devour spectacular films in which (for example) cycling, skiing, climbing, mountaineering, kayaking and other disciplines are at the heart of extraordinary achievements (final programme available in November 2023). With 23 cities visited, the Quebec tour is one of the biggest on the World Tour, which brings together adventure enthusiasts in over 40 countries. The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival is the most prestigious film event of its kind in the world. For 48 years now, in late October and early November, festival-goers from all over the world have been treated to a hundred or so films selected from over 400 short and medium-length films in competition.
