L'Avant-première is an NPO whose mission is to promote the creation, development and improvement of the performing arts by offering artists and cultural organisations in the Outaouais region the services and collaborative spaces they need to flourish.

Under the general and artistic direction of Claire Duguay, L'Avant-première coordinates the artistic residency programme Projet 3e œil as well as the Rendez-vous probables, a series of unusual collaborations between the media arts, music, dance and street arts.

Housed on rue Montcalm in the heart of downtown Gatineau, L'Avant-première also manages a collection of rental spaces for performing artists, including: two rehearsal, training, creation and meeting rooms; a 50-person capacity black box; and L'Amplif, a soundproof space for amplified music.
