Le Fâcheux Théâtre is a not-for-profit professional theater company whose mandate is theatrical research, production and presentation. It is interested in vibrant repertory texts with a strong contemporary resonance, as well as in artists and projects with an original approach, whose words provoke reflection on our society.

The Fâcheux Théâtre program is divided into two parts. The first is a summer open-air theater called “Molière in the Park”, which aims to democratize access to the theater and reach a vast and diverse audience. The second is dedicated to theatrical research, focusing on the concerns of the company and its artists. The projects in this section break free from the constraints of open-air theater and take on a variety of venues.
