The Association has been in existence since 2003. Over the years, the Association has worked to encourage the creation and dissemination of Cantléans art and culture by promoting its artists and artisans.

The number of events organized is around three per year, depending on available financial and volunteer resources. Funds raised by partners, membership fees and fundraising activities are used for this purpose.

All organizational and administrative work for the Association Art de l'Ordinaire is done on a voluntary basis. The Board of Directors is made up of volunteer members of the Association, elected at the Annual General Meeting.

In addition to being invited to participate in events organized by the Association, members are informed of other artistic and cultural activities taking place throughout the Outaouais region. Art de l'Ordinaire is a member of Tourisme Outaouais, which keeps it well connected.

Their website promotes their events and members. The Association also publishes monthly articles in the Cantley Echo and on the Facebook platform to inform and invite the public to participate in their activities, and to recruit new members.

Thanks to the commitment of our volunteer members and the financial support of local sponsors, the Association is able to pursue its mission and ensure the continuity of its commitment: to showcase our artists and artisans, and to promote the cultural richness of our greater region.
