Troupe Désinvolte

La Troupe Désinvolte is the result of a series of theatrical ventures that began in the early 1990s with the creation of student theatre clubs. Supported by educational institutions, the first actors began performing on the stages of the National Arts Centre, the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the National Gallery and Arts Court. Bearing in turn the names Troupe Paul Claudel, Troupe Héautontimorouménos, Troupe de l'Arrière-Scène and the BNZ, this first chapter ended with the creation of a fully-fledged troupe, definitively adopting the name Désinvolte, both literally and figuratively!
