Édith Piaf shattered all records: for seduction, passion, suffering, madness, provocation and desire, and is still the best-known French singer in the world.

Georgian-born singer and actor Vladimir Korneyev wishes to pay tribute to this immense artist, for Piaf's songs and life are an essential part of the history of French chanson.

In new arrangements specially created for this show, Vladimir Kornéev revisits Piaf's repertoire, from the most famous songs (Mon Dieu, La vie en rose, L'Hymne à l'amour) to some lesser-known ones (Le droit d'aimer) and others she performed but never recorded (Où sont tous mes amants, Comme un moineau). Vladimir Kornéev will also recount his life and career, and the parallels with Piaf's life, in this concert presented for the first time in Quebec. Piaf as we've never heard her before, Piaf sung by an exceptional male voice for a whole new look at this extraordinary woman and career.
