Terrier - Forêts, sentiers et menus trésors
Théâtre du Gros Mécano in coproduction with Les Incomplètes
Deep in the forest, two little creatures are busy gathering their provisions. Acorns, pine nuts and mushrooms. Pebbles, apples and branches. Crankshafts, typewriters and other old objects... Everything they unearth is counted and stored away in their burrow. The other writes, contemplates, savors... Together, they create their own little world. Their friendship, peppered with minor disagreements, weaves the thread of the seasons. But now a major conflict separates them... Can we live without each other? How much effort should we make in friendship? How can we reconcile our differences? TERRIER takes the little spectator on a playful, poetic and wordless tour of friendship and living together.
BIO :
Théâtre du Gros Mécano favors a theater of actors, words and images, fantasy, wonder, reflection and poetry; an accessible theater, open to diverse approaches to content and form. The company pays particular attention to original works, offering artists a space for research and artistic experimentation, thus contributing to the development of contemporary theatricality and the dissemination of our culture at home and abroad.
In 1976, the founders of the Théâtre du Gros Mécano wanted to safeguard and develop a mandate that had been part of the Théâtre du Trident's original mission: children's theater. Nearly 50 years later, the Théâtre du Gros Mécano is a creative company that produces and tours professional shows for young audiences and families throughout Quebec, Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia. The company has some sixty professional productions to its credit.
For children aged 4 to 8 and their adults.
