In this emotionally rich literary cabaret, pre-formed duets bring together black women authors of different generations. Each addresses the other through a letter on the theme of sisterhood. These truths, shared on both sides, raise fundamental questions at a time of rising extreme right-wing extremism, climate collapse and the public dismantling of arts and culture funding in Quebec.

What place do black women writers have in Quebec literature? Do they have allies? What does black sisterhood mean in the Quebec context? What concerns run through the words of Afro-Quebec women writers? Do words have power in the face of misogyny and racism? What mobilizing forces can emerge from Black sisterhood for the past, present and future? Powerful exchanges that will touch everyone.
